Certain numbers of tickets are allocated for each and every participating country of the London Olympics. However, if you are a citizen of a country that comes under the European Union, then you have greater chances of getting tickets. The road cycling is divided into two events; one is head-to-head battle where competitors clash over a route measuring 140km for women and 250km for men, and the second is the time trial where the cyclists have to fight against the clock as the quickest one will be crowned as the champion. The time trial will take place on 1st August at Hampton Court Palace. As per the organizing committee, up to 15,000 ticketless spectators will be able to enjoy this event. 5, Race Walk
Race Walking is one of the most interesting events to watch and it’s free for the spectators. The race would take place on the streets of Central London and it would end at The Mall. According to the rules of the Race Walk, the competitor’s one foot must be always on the ground throughout the competition while they speed-walk along the 2km loop route. The route will pass through places such as St James's Park, Buckingham Palace and Green Park.
